-A Futuristic Customer Experience Center at the Heart of an Office Bridging Two Cultures-
ZEISS, a global leader in optical technologies, has established a new office in Tokyo that integrates both a laboratory and Customer Experience Center . The project brings together departments previously dispersed across the city into a single hub, enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening internal collaboration.
The five-story building is organized to reflect ZEISS’s innovation and precision across each floor. The ground floor houses a laboratory designed to showcase and accommodate heavy, in-house–developed equipment. On the second floor, a customer experience centercombined with meeting spaces provides an environment for client engagement. The interior, defined by a clean white palette and sculptural arcs, creates a futuristic atmosphere that can also serve as a versatile venue for events and seminars.
Floors three through five are dedicated to workspaces, with the top floor featuring a café area where employees can easily gather. Serving as both a refreshment and communication hub, this space fosters a sense of community within the workplace.
Through this office concept, ZEISS has not only embodied its spirit of innovation and precision but also established a new workstyle that enhances organizational unity and supports employee comfort, ultimately contributing to greater productivity.
