House Mazora
Triesen, Liechtenstein
On an elevated quiet residential area near the forest, spacious residential apartments with unobstructed views over the Rhine Valley are being built.
Haus Mazor is a precisely structured new building in a hillside. The building develops in clear, horizontal layers and thus reacts directly to the topography: recoils and cantered planes stagger the volume, reduce the perceived height and create generous outdoor spaces with high quality of stay.
The architectural language is deliberately reserved. Smooth, calm facade surfaces and consistently guided edges emphasize the clear geometry. Transparent parapets and generous openings provide lightness and allow interior and exterior space to visually merge into each other. The terraces thus become extensions of the living areas and form different zones depending on the use - from the protected stay to the open view.
A special place of the house is the pool area, which acts as a weather-protected outdoor space and strengthens the theme of "outdoor living" even in the transition periods. The interplay of constructive precision, reduced details and a calm material effect shapes the finished building and gives it a timeless, objective presence.
