WY Wine Bar

Schaan, Liechtenstein

The wine bar is an extension of the Ritter Weine wine shop in Schaan. A former wine cellar, which was built in 1696, offers an optimal unique location for this.

The historic vaults in the basement give the rooms a special atmosphere which fits well into the wine bar theme. On the total of 122 square meters there is, in addition to an entrance area and a kitchen, a bar with two lounges for guests. A cement tile floor runs through the entire entrance area and then underlines the change to the bar area with a radical change to parquet. The furniture is dominated by dark colors, leather and wood.

A bench frames both rooms, which are equipped with several small tables. This allows for flexible space occupation. The central point is the bar made of smoked oak with brass and leather panels. Indirect light should additionally stage the vaults and provide a certain basic brightness in the rather dark basement rooms.
