Arcade House

The Arcade House in Tübingen is defined by a continuous arcade that acts as a mediating layer between interior and exterior. It provides access to different garden areas - from the patio-like outdoor space to the south to the natural zone by the stream to the north - and creates a layered relationship with its surroundings.

The façade of exposed concrete and Danish brick by Petersen Tegl combines robustness with artisanal depth. The water-struck bricks create a lively, nuanced appearance through subtle colour variations and slight irregularities.

On the ground floor, the house is organised into an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, as well as a generous spa area with fitness room, pool, sauna and steam bath. The private rooms are arranged on the upper floor.
