Architecture 'Out of Context'
As part of the 2025 World Architecture Festival (WAF) in Miami, curator Vladimir Belogolovsky, of Curatorial Project, has mounted Out of Context, an exhibition presenting seven buildings by seven architects, ranging from a villa in Armenia to zoo pavilions in China.
This exhibition within a festival is reminiscent of No Doubt About It, an exhibition from Curatorial Project that took place in Venice this year, overlapping with the Venice Architecture Biennale, featuring six projects by six Asian and European architects. The one-project-per-architect format allows Belogolovsky to go into depth on the projects—through both images and text in the context of the exhibition and video interviews that can also be watched online. The latter are what we present here: the seven interviews, each one between 17 and 20 minutes, embedded below. For reference, here is the list of the seven architects/firms that exhibited in Out of Context at WAF, November 12–14:
- Garegin Yeghoyan, ARCHcoop, Yerevan, Armenia
- Mohammad Foyez Ullah, VOLUMEZERO Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh
