The Fabric of Story – Exhibition Design in Dialogue with Material, Space and AI 

We are entering a new phase of design: it is no longer technology that takes centre stage, but the conversation between human and machine – between craft, intuition and algorithm. Artificial intelligence becomes a co-creator, offering variations, disruptions and reflections. Design turns into a dialogue that does not replace the human hand, but inspires it. In exhibition design, material itself becomes a narrative structure – quite literally the fabric of story: a medium for light, sound, temperature, atmosphere and storytelling. AI makes material qualities visible and expands the creative resonance between idea, potential and spatial experience. At the same time, the dialogue with clients and commissioners is evolving. New forms of visualisation allow ideas to be shared more directly, to make local or culturally specific visions visible, and to think them further together. Clients become co-authors in the design process – the conversation about material becomes part of the act of designing itself.

Mit der Teilnahme an dieser fachbezogenen Fortbildungsveranstaltung können Mitglieder der Architekten- und Stadtplanerkammer Hessen (AKH) 1 Fortbildungspunkt gemäß § 3 der Fortbildungsordnung der AKH erwerben. Die Teilnahme kann ebenfalls bei den Architektenkammern Baden-Württemberg, Thüringen, Rheinland-Pfalz und Sachsen als Fortbildung eingereicht werden.
