Quartier de l’Étang – Construction of a New Public Space Complex

The future Quartier de l’Étang will provide the City of Vernier with a new ensemble of public spaces, including a boulevard, pedestrian areas, squares, and a park. The project aims to create a harmonious environment, located near major traffic routes and the airport, while giving priority to soft mobility. It covers approximately 50,000 m² of outdoor developments, consisting of concrete paving, granite paving, and large planted areas. Quartier de l’Étang has obtained the Cité 2000-Watt label, with special attention given to surface water retention in its outdoor developments.

Our firm initially acted as assistant to the Client (Maître d’ouvrage) during the operational phase. The purpose of this assignment was to strengthen the City of Vernier’s project team and ensure the protection of its interests. After two years as AMO (assistant to the Client), our firm was finally awarded a full mandate as works director for all utility connections and exterior developments of the district. Our mission now is to ensure the successful execution of the works, both in public and private areas. In addition, our firm has been entrusted with the overall coordination of all contractors involved in the outdoor developments.
