In the very central Piazza di Spagna in Rome, a few feet from the famous steps, a two storey shop was reconfigured into the new Giuseppe Zanotti’s roman flagship store.
Even if the project employs classical tradition’s materials (such as marbles, lacquered wood and brass) it aims to a modernism that brings out the tradition’s main issues and the italian planning quality.
The sell area is based on two floors, women’s collection on the ground floor and men’s at the first one.
Indoor spaces reflect a classical architecture with vaulted ceilings, where the existing thick shell, which divides the shop into different areas, is used as a natural occasion to split the exhibited categories of goods.
