Two companies of the Kirchhoff Group opened a joint office in Gerlingen near Stuttgart in late 2015. Our office planned and coordinated the ambitious construction project.
Both companies belong to the "hidden champions" in their specific areas of business on the world markets: Faun in the field of environmental technology, Zoeller with its tilt systems for disposal vehicles. With similar and partly overlapping customer bases, a shared services site in the metropolitan region of Stuttgart offers great advantages.
Sales, consulting and service are combined in the branch. The space programme includes a large workshop with crane system and wash shed as well as a storage area with products for customer service and shipping. The directly connected administrative wing enables short ways to the offices and rooms for customer dialogues. The company Stahlbau Nägele GmbH from Eislingen, a long-standing partner of our office, has convincingly implemented the predefined metal construction concept including facades.
Also, the location of the branch is well chosen: Gerlingen is located at a junction where two highways and a road are crossing. The central location makes it easy for customers to reach the service centre.
