Bally Flagship Store

Inspired by the Swiss shoemaker’s tradition of craftsmanship, the starting point for our store concept was a simple handmade wooden box. European Oak floor and wall joints were intricately designed and crafted to reflect the beautiful materials, attention to detail and fine construction of Bally products.

To position Bally as a modern, fashionable brand, we used classic materials such as walnut, oak and DD lacquered MDF in new and surprising ways. For example, we asked Bally’s lastmakers to carve a stool from a solid walnut block based on a 3D scan of an original Swiss tractor seat that was fed into a high-tech milling machine. Colours were also combined to intrigue customers without overshadowing Bally’s products. The finished store resembled a modern Swiss chalet – intimate and chic with the promise of excitement and adventure beyond the door.
