In 2011, we were once again invited to devise a trade stand for TOTO. This time, the brand was keen to highlight its environmentally-friendly philosophy. To do this in an evocative and memorable way, we drew inspiration from traditional Japanese gardens and bathing culture.
Our design consisted of a garden area surrounded by three open pavilions. Natural materials were combined with modern architectural techniques and high-technology products to create a harmonious space visitors could wander round while soaking up the essence and atmosphere of TOTO.
Our stand won a Red Dot Award and an IF Award for communication design.
