A handshake between a raw room and refined boutique is how we described the big idea. For the tough, industrial side, we introduced end grain flooring, warm grey ceramic tiles that resemble worn concrete, and exaggerated glass profiles – all evocative of a factory. The shadow of a tree projected on to the glass panels brings a touch of nature into the city, and celebrates Jet Set’s roots in outdoor pursuits. To highlight the innovation, high-tech textiles and engineering behind the brand’s products, we designed a series of sophisticated oval frames in anodized steel. These artistic features contrasted with the industrialised shell to create an effect as dramatic as seeing Princess Grace slalom down a slope.
