Built in 1970 by the architect association Eidenbenz Bosshard Meier, Zentrum Witikon was one of the first shopping centres in Switzerland. The structuralism-inspired complex encompasses three multi-unit buildings, three low-rise buildings and a central square. Following renovation, the now listed property once again has a visually cohesive appearance. Beyond the raw concrete aesthetic, the ensemble is characterised by meticulously restored original elements such as the copper facing shells of the upper-storey windows and the brass blind rails.
