The symbiotic connection between wood and light
This project shows a residential house that embodies the beauty and versatility of timber construction. The house consists of a timber frame construction, a construction method in which the load-bearing structure consists of vertical and horizontal timber beams that both fulfill the static requirements and create an aesthetic effect. The closed spruce formwork gives the building a warm and natural look that is perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape.
Generous exposure areas create a connection to nature and bring plenty of daylight into the rooms. This enables a harmonious connection between the interior and exterior and creates a feeling of spaciousness and openness. The interiors are generously designed and offer plenty of space and brightness. Clean lines and a modern design ensure a contemporary feel, while the natural wood material creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
