This residence is for a family of six in the suburbs of Kyoto City.
The house stands out with its unique design. Despite its large volume, it is cleverly divided by small roofs, each covering a specific area under a large, embracing roof. A gently connected stairwell further enhances the spatial composition.
This house is a harmonious blend of various materials. The kitchen, study corner, Japanese-style room, and private rooms showcase different materials, yet the overall space is meticulously planned to maintain a cohesive aesthetic.

Design: Studio Tawaraya + Yukawa Design Lab
