House at Railroad Crossing
Fujiidera-city, Osaka, Japan
A building was built about 100 years ago as a facility for workers during the construction of the railroad line. Later, it was used as a residence and renovated to open it to the community.
The only access to the site is through a small railroad crossing, which is secluded between the railroad tracks and a bank. By constructing a path that crosses the building and the site to the bank, the railroad crossing will become an open approach to the site, and we hope that various activities will overflow into the site.
