The design for the office and commercial building Goethestraße 34 is characterized by its location at an important inner-city interface in the immediate vicinity of Opernplatz. The renovation of the existing building has been inspired by the history of the site and the expression of the pre-war construction, following a design that cuts off the sharp corner with a head-end structure, which now forms an eye-catching element at the eastern end of Opernplatz once again. The building was thus given a new, compelling look with a contemporary, modern design language.
