Architecture has no model in nature. It has to rely on its own. An interaction of mass, lightness and emptiness, light and shadow, materials and forms. The user and the visitor do not pay attention to such details. They value places and rooms that are well tuned – attuned to the place and its use. A place that lifts up, enables to work and helps in an unobtrusive way, a place that surprises with not expected offers.
Placed on the tip of the property rises a long-stretched, modest, cuboid-shaped building above a pedestal level built of slate. The object floats above the landscape which descends to the south. The driveway and the reception are designed in a generous way and allow an easy orientation. The driveway opens the street in the area of the turning point and guarantees the sight to the woods also for residents. Neighbouring buildings are barely overtopped, representative qualities open up bit by bit when approaching the building. Secluded private terraces and open areas are oriented towards the adjacent woods.
