The new building of the Bavarian NMR Center (Center for Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy) for the Technical University of Munich (TUM) is located at the northwestern boundaries of the university and research campus in Garching. The centre is operated jointly by TUM and Helmholtz Center Munich. Essentially, the building comprises the NMR hall for housing the spectrometers, as well as five laboratory units for the preparation and analysis of the results from the spectrometer experiments, along with office-like evaluation units with a seminar room.
