These two apartment buildings stand as independent, homogeneous entities on a shared plot of green. The new façade cladding plays a central role: corrugated Eternit panels envelop the storeys, including the balconies, in continuous bands. The band motif highlights the horizontal aspect of the structure much more than its height. In addition to the new, back-ventilated façade, the renovation also encompasses enlarged balconies, a covered entrance and an extended loft floor with a 3½-room apartment. Each apartment has a new bathroom and a kitchen that is open to the living space. The buildings vary in terms of the colour of the corrugated Eternit and the windowsills – a nod to the different building owners.
