Mobility of the Future in Thalgau
Recently, the "Mobilitätszukunft Thalgau" was opened in the Salzburg region – a forward-thinking service station with comprehensive functions, where state-of-the-art technology, sustainable architecture, and exceptional comfort come together.
For the Tyrolean company Gutmann, we have developed an innovative construction project through careful planning, whose broad objective is to create added value for the local population and travelers, alongside energy and local supply.
Built using a wood-concrete hybrid construction method, a 70-meter-wide flying roof made of solid wood spans the fuel and electric charging areas below.
Two pavilions, with green islands in front of them, zone these different energy areas and offer a diverse range of services, including a shop with a café, a lounge with comfortable seating areas as a special highlight, and an energy consulting service office on the upper floor - offering a wide array of services for visitors and customers.
The design of the space maximizes functionality while minimizing the use of area.
The building’s sustainable construction features a clean, geometric design, complemented by exceptional landscaping. Together with its high technical standards, these elements make the project both a challenging endeavor and a unique standout.
