Surrounded by the impressive Italian Alps peaks, Bormio is situated in a spectacular natural amphitheatre at the Stelvio Natural Park’s heart. In this high mountain environment and weather, the new nursing home’s architecture is adapted in height, typology and morphology to the urban environment and its traditional dwellings, to make its guests feel at home.

The new residential care home for Bormio community has a very extensive programme in a compact building with a central courtyard, distributed over 5 floors, one of which is below ground level. On its more than 9,000m, it offers a mixed programme with rooms for 80 users, flats for the elderly and all the necessary services for guest’s care
