The Triton Marbre playground is nestled alongside Lake Carcans beach, on the newly revitalized Place du Pôle de Maubuisson, in Carcans, France. The custom-designed wooden playground is a celebration of the marbled newt—Triturus marmoratus, a heritage amphibian native to Lake Carcans. The playground sculpture transforms the species into a playful, accessible experience that reflects both local identity and environmental stewardship.
