De-spec

Alex Amini graduated from Pratt Institute and Cooper Union 1990, he worked for Raphael Vinoly Architects, New York, Dominique Perrault Architects, Berlin, Costantini Regembal Architects, Paris, and Raimond Abraham in New York.  Since 2000 he has been mainly focusing on his own Studio collaborates with De-spec on special projects and installations.

Received a Bachelors degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute. She studied Film at Columbia University and Fine Arts at Cooper Union. She has taught Architectural Design, Delineation and Programming in the Graduate and Undergraduate Program at NJIT.  Ms. Mansuri is a regular guest lecturer and critic at Pratt Institute and Columbia University Graduate School of Design.  She has gained much of her experiences from working with architectural firms including I.M.Pei (Pei Cobb Freed & Partners), WASA architects & engineers in New York, James Stirling (Wilford & Stirling) in London, and Carl Pruscha and Raimond Abraham in Vienna.
Founded De-spec inc 2002 and the rest is about De-spec and the amazing team.
