Issey Miyake SKP

The concept for this project involves using a simple circular glass wall to highlight the collection line of “ISSEY MIYAKE”. The location of the project is a corner of the Chengdu SKP project in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province in China. The design features a large circular glass wall and hanger rack layout within a simple square space. Various displays, counters, and fitting areas were placed around the outside of the circular space. By creating a clear and central space, the design emphasizes the brand’s message while also ensuring smooth movement and functional placement. To achieve this, a combination of mirror-finished frames and glass screens were used in a completely white space, with a focus on the ISSEY MIYAKE items themselves as the main element of the atmosphere.
