The World Architecture Festival (WAF) has announced the 536-strong shortlist for the 2018 WAF Awards, which will be decided at the RAI Amsterdam over the course of three days in November. The shortlist is broken down into 34 award categories and includes projects from 81 countries.
The shortlist is far too long to list here in its entirety. Instead click on the category links to see the shortlist for each category. As in previous years, the categories are broken down into Completed Buildings and Future Projects, as well as two Landscapes. Architects of the shortlisted projects will present compete in November for the honor of winning World Building of the Year, Future Project of the Year, and Landscape of the Year.
