Giving access to the riverfront was the main goal for the Samuel-de-Champlain Promenade. The first phase of the project was completed in time to celebrate the city’s 400th anniversary. It consisted of master planning, design development and working drawings for the landscape of a 14 kilometer boulevard along the banks of the St. Lawrence River. The project resulted in spectacular views, continuous access to the water, recreational and green spaces, urban marshes, sculpture gardens, pedestrian paths and boardwalks.
