Batlleiroig

Batlleiroig is a multidisciplinary office that combines the practice of Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Architecture. Founded in 1981 by Enric Batlle and Joan Roig, it is made up of more than 200 professionals from different disciplines; a young and dynamic team capable of taking on all the challenges of the architectural field. Committed to the environment and engaged in the search for solutions to address our planet’s climate emergency, Batlleiroig has been speaking about landscape and nature since its foundation.

Awarded the Medal of the Superior Council of Architects of Spain in 2017 for its business achievements and the 2012 FAD Award for Architecture and Criticism, the office has also received numerous prizes for its built work, including: The International Architecture Awards in 2020 and 2014, Landscape of the Year WAF 2018, several Catalunya Construcció Awards, the IAKS–International Olympic Committee Award 2015, multiple WAF Awards, and the European Prize for Urban Public Space 2004.
