With the unique urban landscape of Chongqing as the theme, DAS created a large mural Chongqing Jungle for ECOOL Creative Park. The city of Chongqing is filled with vernacular spectacles. The mural is a portrait for the city with many local landmarks. A combination of axonometric projection and one-point perspective is adopted in the drawing. Each detail is depicted by axonometric projection, which provides flexible viewpoints and maintains the space continuity. For the overall composition, the upper half is drawn from a low angle while the bottom half from a high one. The projection is made from the edge of the drawing to the center, creating a hidden focal point in the center of the drawing.
