Anhelina L. Starkova is a practicing architect and curator. She served as Head Curator of the 7th Tallinn Architecture Biennale (TAB) in 2024. She has been an invited lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons (FHGR), Switzerland; the Kharkiv School of Architecture (KHSA), Ukraine; and the educational platform Auditoria by the Meganom Bureau. Her work explores new formal methods in architectural design, spatial perception, and critical analysis through contemporary architectural theory.
She is an experienced collaborator with world-renowned architects and public authorities. As a practicing architect, she has worked with the London-based company Theatre Projects, the Bolshoi Theatre, Funkhaus Berlin, Estonian Centre for Architecture and Roshen Corporation. Together with Swiss architect Valerio Olgiati, she is the author and editor of the translation of Non-Referential Architecture.
She was a finalist in the Chief Curator selection for the 7th edition of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale (2025) and Bruges Triennial (2027). Her architectural projects and critical texts have been widely published and exhibited, including at MOMus, MAO, Bauwelt, Abitare, Living Corriere. Igloo magazine, Dezeen, ArchDaily, Modulor, Paletten Journal, and the BDA (Bund Deutscher Architekten) in Berlin, Germany.
