Malabo Parametric Hospital

The planned building posits environmental respect in the essential attribute to the local building tradition. The proposal takes the urban voids which make up the city’s different blocks as its reference point, yielding an implementation approach linking the institutional role of the Spanish Hospital to a commitment to serving as a landmark building for Malabo. The building aims to stand as a leading facility in the country’s health sector, housing 68 beds as well as surgical, neonatal, emergency, rehabilitation and outpatient areas.
