The design makes optimum use of a long, thin building site with a 3.6-meter frontage. While conveying a sense of freedom and relaxation, the space allows residents to maintain their privacy but still feel connected to the outside environment. The living-dining-kitchen area, aligned north-to-south, is varied and lively thanks to a ceiling that is high in the living-room area but lower in the dining area. A skylight between the two sections brings sunlight into the center of the space and gently divides it.
