This luxury Restaurant is part of St. Regis Hotel located in Doha. The lighting concept is based on an involving skin that is treated partially in a theatrical manner allowing for transparencies, screening and filtering of light.
The entrance, the rotunda, key visual element of the restaurant, is treated as a big lantern that makes users parts of the scene having as its core, a custom chandelier that incorporate changes to adapt to the passing of the day. This is enhance by backlit screens that generate a theatrical atmosphere.
In areas of formal and casual dining, the glitz, richness and brightness are incorporated by chandeliers and accent lamps. Screening, contrast and shadow are the key elements.
