Collaborating with the world-renowned architectural firm BIG, we were responsible for the landscape design and construction of the NOT A HOTEL project, situated in the beautiful location of the Seto Inland Sea.
Distinguishing characteristic of this project is the rammed earth walls made from local soil. By using traditional techniques and incorporating them into modern design, these walls harmonize with the local landscape and contribute to sustainable architecture. The landscape design is based on a return to nature, featuring silver-leaf trees, grasses, olives, and citrus trees.
