Casa nel Borgo
In one of Italy's most beautiful villages, a couple of art collectors transformed a ruin into a second home for their family. Located where the countryside meets the charm of the historic village, the daughter, a young ballet prodigy, was central to the project. The house became a space for regeneration, where the beauty of the landscape and the purity of the spaces help them relax and find inspiration.
This house is like a blank canvas where art, family, and nature come together. A sheet of white resin envelops the floors, walls, and ceilings, enhancing the natural light. The custom-made furnishings, with vibrant accents and colored mirror surfaces, become true design elements.
The house is spread over two floors, consisting of four volumes and versatile spaces. The ground floor is dedicated to the living area, conceived as a convivial and open space, while the upper floor houses the sleeping area. The daughter's room is adaptable, thanks to a curtain partition that ensures both privacy and flexibility.
The house is a harmonious balance between past and present, a space that evolves with the family. It tells the story of a shared vision, where art and daily life intertwine, proving that with creativity and sensitivity, it is possible to create spaces that not only preserve the lived experience but also inspire and endure over time.
