Wine cellar in Southern France

Südfrankreich, France

The winecellar is located hillside to the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by trees and the typically Provence landscape with a breathtaking sea view. A simple platform floored with natural stone of the area is building the basis – like a nice table.

On top of that stands a rectangular glazed house, covered by an oversized solid compressed concrete roof, shading the glazed facades – simple, reduced, perfect in proportions.

A wooden portal is leading in the house, where the wine is growing to its best in the barrels.
