The Resistance of a Flower
Antic Cinema Modern, Girona, Spain
No matter how high a barrier is, no matter how strong the pressure, or no matter how adverse the conditions, a flower will find a way to survive and flourish again.
Following the concept of temporality, the Resistance of a Flower vindicates the rebellion of vegetation and the ability to overcome hostile environments. A proof that delicacy and fragility are not synonymous with submission.
A production in a hostile environment, the lobby of the abandoned Antic Cinema Modern in Girona, on the occasion of the 2018 edition of Temps de Flors, with THE FLOWER as the main protagonist. And a shocking soundtrack "Nessun Dorma" by Puccini.
An installation-homage to Jorge Méndez Blake and his work El Castell.
