The Red Cross is based on volunteer work. Therefore, the huge organisation recruits with “We’ve got the jacket for you“. In Hartkirchen only, 150 volunteers actively contribute and are available round the clock. To provide those voluntary assistants with ideal conditions, a new service building was erect.
Being perfectly located directly at the main road and clearly visible from there, the house functions as a kind of hybrid. Garage, utility room, offices, training room, “hotel“, common room and kitchen are all to be found under one big, uniting roof.
Despite the necessary pragmatics we have teased out maximum quality especially inside, collaborating closely with the users. Openings in the facade are to be found where needed.
