The residential quarters of the urban plot reveal their own character. Due to the position of the inner-block area, the traffic noise of the adjacent streets is effectively screened. A courtyard serves as centre and communicative meeting point. The urban structure is divided into four clusters, which filled with town houses and flats. Due to the arrangement of the buildings, a differentiated sequence of public and semi-public buildings is created. The cubic shape of the houses are varied by protrusion and recession, as well as storey differentiation. The houses feature various styles and layouts. Beside the established styles, some houses were design with innovative elements, such as integrated garage, high ceilings and flexible floor plans. The principal of „unity and variety” is supported by the choice of material: All houses are rendered with the same brickwork, the entrance areas are fitted with Trespa-sheets.
