Rahel Hirsch Center for Translational Medicine
Charité | Luisenstr. 65, Berlin, Germany
The new entrance hall of the Rahel Hirsch Center welcomes staff, patients and researchers in a daylight atmosphere.
Another inner courtyard provides the surrounding rooms with natural light down to the first floor. Offices and waiting areas adjoin this inner courtyard. Our daylight calculations examined the critical rooms in the corners of the courtyards and the first floor. This allows us to evaluate the lighting quality and find ways to optimize it together with the architects.
