Nauders Municipal Hall
Nauders 221, Nauders, Austria
The municipal hall was realized as an independent building, deliberately set apart from the existing structures and positioned in response to the site’s topography. This creates a new village square that integrates existing routes and acts as a connecting public space.
The building forms a clear edge to the square and establishes a balanced relationship with the surrounding context. The functions of the municipal administration are compactly organized and structured according to their level of public access.
Through targeted interventions, the existing buildings were functionally enhanced and made fully accessible. The new village square strengthens the existing fabric and provides an additional place for social interaction.
