Martha’s Courtyard @Hiltl House

In the heart of the city, in the Hiltl courtyard, pfeffermint AG has transformed an inconspicuous location into a lively oasis: Martha's courtyard. A gray backyard has been turned into a colorful retreat that combines warmth, lightness, and atmosphere.
The project was developed as part of a competitive pitch that pfeffermint AG won – a wonderful start to the transformation of this special place.
The floor and walls were redesigned with a color scheme that is delicate, playful, and powerful at the same time – a harmonious balance between summer vibes and urban expression. At the center, a bright logo forms the heartpiece, from which star-shaped fairy lights and plants radiate outwards. Together, they form a green, shimmering roof that provides shade and dampens the noise of the city.
Martha's courtyard is a place to linger, enjoy, and breathe deeply – a little piece of summer in the middle of Zurich.
