Living vertically

Living Vertically is a project that explores the maximum use of space in a loft with a height of seven meters, where growth and expansion are only possible upwards. This gain of new, high-quality spaces is achieved through three elements: frames, platforms, and profiles.

The arrangement of these three elements creates a balanced contrast with the pre-existing structure, without adding visual weight or unnecessary noise. Their light, wire-like character allows light to pass through, creating new perspectives and casting shadows on the walls. In this way, an interesting duality is established between contrast and lightness: the red-toned metal stands out against the surroundings, yet at the same time appears to float in space.

The integration of frames, platforms, and profiles is perceived as a coherent whole. This system not only acts as structural support but also adds value to the space by incorporating surfaces for support, seating elements, and functional bars for hanging objects.
