The city blocks MK2 and MK3, standing next to each other, form an important part of the urban restructuring along Kurfürstenanlage road. Architectural themes are the elaborate design of an attractive connection from the park in the north to Bahnhofstraße in the south, as well as a clearly structured and flexible look of both blocks. In order to achieve this, the façades consist of architectural concrete sandwich panels, arranged in varied compositions. The spaces on the first floor of KurfürstenCarré are designed for retail units and a children’s day care center, with connection to the inner courtyard, the upper stories hold apartments of different sizes and layouts.
