House on the lake
Lake Pilsen, Germany
The property is distinguished by its steeply sloping nature with a fine view of Lake Pilsen and Andechs Monastery. Due to this slope, access to the garden is via the first basement level, so that the entrance floor at street level includes a two-storey living area and a sleeping gallery in the attic. The archetypal design integrates local styles, transformed in a contemporary materiality and space utilisation requirements.
