House A4 «Am Rietpark»

As the initial project, the house on site A4 served as both signal and impulse for the development of the whole area. Like all of the four houses, this building also comprises only two staircases. Single-story and maisonette apartments are interwoven in a complex manner, sometimes revolving around a prominent double-story open air space. The striking silhouette of the L-shaped high-rise figure with the pitched rooflines over the lower structure create subtle light effects on the surface of the facade’s eggshell-white Eternit panels and the ornamentally perforated aluminum sheets of the balcony parapets.
