Golden Ribbon – Seamarq Hotel
Gangneung, South Korea
In 2015, Ingo Maurer created a Golden Ribbon with the extraordinary length of 13.5 meters for the lobby of the Seamarq Hotel in Gangneung, on the East Coast of South Korea. The building itself has been designed by architect Richard Meier & Partner.
Each Golden Ribbon is different, but always of amazing beauty. Ingo Maurer creates each one especially for the space it is made for, and hand-crafted in a long process with many steps, involving a number of highly-skilled specialists, based in the Munich region.
