Fire Station Eisenburg

Memmingen - Eisenburg, Germany

On the site of the former football pitch on the edge of the village, the new fire station nestles into the rear of the bottle-neck-shaped plot and, thanks to its positioning, is ideally placed to serve the functional processes in the case of an alarm. A highly efficient floor plan and the staggered heights of the building reduce the cubic volume to a minimum. With its timber construction, with wood from local forests, green roof, PV and dedicated landscape architecture, the project makes a valuable contribution to ecological sustainability in municipal construction.
