Fire Department Sand in Taufers
Via Dr. Daimer, Sand in Taufers, Italy
At the entrance of the Tauferer Ahrntal, at 870 meter above sea level, the fire station can be seen as a new golden landmark of Sand in Taufers. The building is mainly characterized by its unique and straight functionality, which shows in a clear and simple shape. Short ways have received the highest due to their crucial influence during the efficient procedures of an operation. The building has a valuable appearance, in which superfluous decorations were deliberately avoided.
As the process of reduction went on, shape, materials and colors came to the fore.
A playful and thus surprising attribute is the golden yellow plaster, roughly splattered onto the facade, creating a specific appeal to the new fire station.
