The CiiM (Centre for Individualised Infection Medicine) is a joint initiative of the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI) in Braunschweig and the Hannover Medical School (MHH). A modern laboratory building will be built in the immediate vicinity of the Hannover Medical School (MHH) and TWINCORE, where research activities will be networked and the CiiM working groups will be brought together in new working environments.

Openness, flexibility and multifunctionality are the guiding principles of the CiiM research laboratory. The compact structure of one of the first wet laboratory buildings in wood hybrid construction combines the demand for high functionality and dynamics. A pleasant indoor climate and spacious communication areas positively influence the way researchers work.
